Winter Forecast

The Old Farmer’s Almanac predicted the snow from Friday January the 13th. It is now predicting that by the end of this week 一 January 25th 一 we will have more snow. What about this old book should we believe? Well The Old Almanac is based on science, but not the kind that meteorologists use. This science is based on the sun and solar activity like sunspots, climatology, weather patterns, and other atmospheric sciences. All of this is paired with a Top Secret formula that creator, Robert B Thomas, derived in 1792. The Old Almanac is often scoffed at by meteorologists and people of the “hard science” community but historians and weather scientists cannot cast aside the fact that The Old Almanac is correct the majority of the time.

So will we have snow by the end of this week and into the next? Will the snowiest parts of the season be in early-mid February? We will have to wait and see, but trust that when Robert B. Thomas created this formula nearly 225 years ago he did something right. This source has been used by farmers for generations and is trusted for seasonal predictions year after year.
