In the recent years, “promposals” have become very popular recently for high schools. Guys used to just ask a girl to prom. Now guys are expected to come up with very creative ways to ask girls to prom.
Some promposals are very ornate, and others are simple. It is very fun to see all of the promposals around school and on social media! Although promposals are fun and cute, they create a lot of pressure for the guys. Promposals are usually always posted on social media so there is a lot of pressure to get the perfect promposal. Also, it is sometimes pressure for the girl because she can’t say no when there is a lot of people around at the promposal, which a lot of times there are a ton of people watching. Most high school girls love promposals and guys always get a lot of positive feedback about their promposals. A lot of guys get ideas from the internet or their friends or they get creative and think of them on their own.

Sam Crabbe asked Allison Quinn. Sam held a sign that said “When you danced into my life. My world became a little more hyped. Please say yes to me and meet my NeedtoBreathe. Prom?” Sam also bought him and Allison concert tickets to a NeedtoBreathe concert.

Jordan Mandell asked Sonny Helms to prom with his KFC inspired promposal. Jordan walked into KFC while Sonny was working, and held a sign that said “KFC U @ Prom?” Jordan also brought balloons and wore a KFC bucket hat on his head during the promposal.

Katie Patton asked Shannon Collins to prom. Katie held a sign that said “Even though you’re a FRESH MINT & I’m a Junior mint, I think we’d have a BEARy Laffy Taffy time @ … PROM?” Katie also brought Shannon the candies that Katie incorporated into her sign to ask him..
